Thinking About Summer...

It's been a very long and cold week in Montreal, so I was thinking about summer... These pictures were taken last summer. The first one is a composite that I shot in St Jean sur Richelieu, at 6 A.M. while waiting for the hot air balloons to show up. It never happened... The second picture was shot in Romania at Tihuta Summit, in Bucovina.

These are two of my projects that I worked on during the holidays break. Both photos were shot in Myrtle Beach last year. Unfortunately I can't be there again this year... That's why we have pictures. Memories are always alive.

It's been a while... actually a very long time since I last posted. Today I am back and I hope I will be posting weekly. Here are some of the new techniques that I have learned in school during my second semester in Commercial Photography.
  1. panorama created from 12 exposures at St. Joseph's Oratory
  2. HDR as a result of 3 different exposures at Dawson College, back entrance
  3. composite, result of 5 different images

more from Sighisoara

As I promissed in my previous posting, I will continue my story about Sighisoara and, who knows, maybe I can convince you to visit it. Founded by Transylvanian Saxons during the 12th century, Sighisoara still stands as one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Europe. Designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th century gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches rivals the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for atmospheric magic.

street in sighisoara

This is my first posting. This was taken during my recent trip to Romania, in Sighisoara, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe. Most of the streets in the old part of town are very narrow, unpaved and lined with colorful houses. More to follow...
